Les nombres ordinaux - a lesson on ordinary numbers. Welcome back to another French lesson. In this lesson, we're tackling les nombres ordinaux. Ces nombres montrent l'ordre ou une séquence. Aucuns exemples: premier, sixième,...

As I've just explained in French, ordinal numbers are used to show an order or a sequence. Some examples are: first, ninth,...

The note above and the YouTube video shows a quick and easy way to introduce the ordinal numbers in French. In the next few weeks, we'll be introducing more ordinal numbers. However, the rule stays the same so it shouldn't be too hard with the rest of them.

Now, practice what you just learnt. On the worksheet, you will find a word search and a translation exercise for you to practice. I hope you enjoy this new topic. Leave comments and any questions.
