Camembert is a soft, creamy, surface-ripened cow's milk cheese. It was first made in the late 18th century at Camembert, Normandy in northern France.
I don't know about you but I' a huge lover of any kind of cheese. However, if I had to go back to one kind of cheese, it will have to be baked Camembert. Typically Camembert is sold whole in thin, round, wooden container in which you can bake it in the oven. The toppings vary from savoury to more sweeter things. My favourite is usually a mixture of the two as you'll see in this recipe. Bread and crudites work extremely well with this kind of soft cheese. So, enjoy!

This is my favourite kind of meal after all these huge meals during this festive time of year. Although it's still quite filling, I enjoy nibbling on it and not have to eat a whole plate of food. The joy of this hors-dœuvre is that you can change the toppings and have a completely different taste to the one you've had before.
Finally, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I also want to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for the coming new year. Thank you for all the support you've shown me throughout this year. I'll see you with another post in the new year. Enjoy and be safe! x
