Corona di prosciutto e melone - A traditional Italian appetiser where salty meets sweet. The saltiness of the ham combined with the sweetness of the melon works extremely well together and you end up with a great dish. To make it more relatable to Christmas, I shaped the dish in the form of a Christmas wreath.

Il prosciutto salato combinato con la dolcezza del melone funziona benissimo e si finisce con un piatto delizioso. Per renderlo più natalizio, ho modellato l'aperitivo sotto la forma di una corona di Natale.

- mozzarella balls

Metodo / Method
Mettete una base di rucola, affettate il melone e posate sulla rucola. Aggiungete il prosciutto. Cospargete le palline di mozzarella e finite con dei fogli di basilico.
Put a rocket salad base, slice the melon and put on the rocket. Add th parma ham. Place the mozzarella balls and finish off the dish with basil leaves.
Although this might be more of a summer dish, if you manage to find some sweet melon, it would work great as one of your Christmas party appetisers as it's so quick to make. I found some honeydew melons and they're absolutely the tastiest melons I've had in the UK.
